...one Sunday afternoon, two years ago now...a visit to La Roche-Guyon, by chance...a drink on the sunny terrace, a warm welcome, a wonderful time, and immediately the desire to return! Whatever the season...or the time...the welcome is a small joy, a simple, smiling moment; whether it's busy or not...nothing changes! Everything is pleasant. We go back...and we gradually discover the chef's cuisine, and I take this opportunity to congratulate and thank him for his talent and his delicious dishes...each time it's a true pleasure to eat because everything is homemade, and that: that's pure bliss. In this place, we feel a friendly, smiling, and warm atmosphere... therefore... it's impossible not to return... and we thank the owner from the bottom of our hearts for her kindness, her sincerity, her smile, her delicious cappuccino (yum yum!)... and what's more... the affection for our dog, who is accepted and welcomed with kindness... that also warms our hearts! For all this, a huge THANK YOU to the management of this establishment, which offers us a very pleasant atmosphere that we struggle to find elsewhere these days, especially in tourist areas! A very pleasant surprise awaited us upon entering Le Relais. The owner apologized for the late hour, but quite the opposite, she welcomed us with open arms! We settled in, and the atmosphere was warm, friendly, and relaxed. The menu is typical of a brasserie, with fresh, homemade products—everything! The meat was superbly cooked, the fries homemade, the gourmet coffee truly lived up to its name, and a small glass of Trolls wine on tap was a delight! The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming, providing top-notch service and truly embodying the spirit of a great shopkeeper! We'll be back very soon; you're our new favorites! (And we haven't forgotten our law classes 😉)

A "country bistro" style and atmosphere characterize this bar-brasserie, just steps from the Château de La Roche-Guyon, where you'll be welcomed with open arms and a genuine smile. The 100% homemade cuisine is simple yet truly delicious, from the daily specials (two are offered) to the desserts. A truly excellent experience awaits at this charming establishment, which stands out for its authenticity in this touristy area.

An exceptional place! Authentic and traditional! The owner is fantastic! Full of humor and a genuine love for people! The veal bavette with pepper sauce was to die for! Pure bliss! With real potatoes, just like my grandmother's! Bravo and thank you for this French-style epicureanism that no longer exists in France…we'll be back!
