Le Relais du Château sur La Roche-Guyon

We walked into this bar/restaurant around 11 am for a couple of coffees, and the welcome was so warm that we returned around noon for lunch. The food is simple but delicious, exactly what we like. The meat is delicious and cooked precisely as requested. It's a shame we live so far away that we can't go back regularly, but if we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back for another delicious meal.

A simple and effective menu, made with fresh, well-prepared ingredients. You can tell the chef prioritizes quality, which is very much appreciated. The prices are quite reasonable for what you get; no complaints whatsoever. What particularly impressed me was the service: despite the impressive crowd that day, the team remained responsive, energetic, and friendly. A huge thank you to the young waiter who handled the rush with exceptional professionalism and skill. He deserves special recognition because he kept things running smoothly and ensured we had a pleasant experience without ever feeling forgotten. Hats off to him and the kitchen for maintaining this level of quality amidst the hustle and bustle. I wholeheartedly recommend this place for a friendly and enjoyable lunch. A family-run restaurant located by the roadside, with excellent food and reasonable prices. But what impressed us most was the welcome: it had been a long time since we'd felt so comfortable, almost like we were at home. The people who run the restaurant are exceptionally kind! A place definitely worth a visit.

A truly delightful experience! The warm welcome from the very professional waiter and the owner, who prepares delicious homemade food, was wonderful. The homemade fries were a treat, and the Caesar salad was very generous. And what can I say about the gourmet coffee to finish off this excellent meal? The homemade apricot Melba was a real delight. Excellent value for money. So go ahead, you won't be disappointed.
