Very pretty restaurant, nicely decorated with a very nice terrace.
However, for a restaurant of this standing, there are many small points to improve. We took the 5-course menu for 2.
It's good, beautifully prepared and the products are quality and fresh, you can see and feel it.
But as I said, when you put the price, there are some details that are important!
Firstly, the amuse-bouche, a mint zucchini soup it seems to me, frankly very good and very fresh. It plays its role as an appetizer perfectly, but the breadsticks that are served with it are put inside in advance and the problem is that they arrive soggy and soft, which completely ruins the experience because of the absolutely unpleasant texture.
As a starter, we had a honeyed goat cheese eggplant and parmesan crumble. Nothing to complain about, well prepared, well cooked, well seasoned, everything was perfect.
We also had an apricot puff pastry, shelled prawns, tiger milk, which was also a good experience despite a lack of seasoning in the tiger milk. There is, however, a small point of improvement to be found I think: puff pastry soaked in liquid is not ideal, it quickly makes the dough soggy and therefore the dish no longer has any texture.
For main course, we had the tournedos Rossini with its accompaniments, again very good, well presented and arrived piping hot. No complaints!
We also had duck breast tournedos, mashed potatoes and their accompaniments, and that was the biggest disappointment... The duck tournedos were seriously lacking in seasoning and above all, the cooking was not at all controlled.
We were not far from blue with a cold core, which may not be very disturbing for some but the fat was absolutely not cooked and therefore inedible, with an absolutely unpleasant texture even cutting it was difficult.
Another negative point: the tournedos arrived tied up, which I can completely understand for cooking, but the string has no place on my plate. In such a subdued night atmosphere, I found myself several times with string in my mouth, which once again spoils the whole experience of this dish, which is however good with controlled accompaniments and juice. But as I said, in a brand of this standing, this kind of detail has no place.
The two desserts, the Madeleine piñacolada and the Chocolate Orange, are absolutely divine, the biscuit is delicious and airy, it is light, not very sweet and perfect to end a hearty meal.
I forgot the cheese platter with a selection of 4 cheeses, all excellent!
In summary, it is a very good brand, very pretty, with attentive and efficient staff, and a chef who knows what he is doing. Despite a few small points of improvement, I still want to salute his work because, from what I understand, he is alone and all the dishes arrive quickly, perfectly prepared and hot!

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant.
From the amuse-bouche to dessert, including the wine and bread, everything was absolutely delicious and perfectly executed.
A big thank you to Caro, our server, for her warm welcome, kindness, and attentiveness throughout the meal.
A truly excellent restaurant that we highly recommend.

We were lucky enough to get a sneak peek this evening of the Christmas menu that will be served on the 24th and 25th. We thoroughly enjoyed everything from the amuse-bouche to the dessert. Absolutely flawless, everything was delicious, the portions were generous, and the food was delicious and plentiful.
The Christmas decorations were also beautiful, and the waitress was as friendly as ever. Well done and thank you!
