A beautiful place lost in the forest. Great cleanliness of the rooms. Absolute calm...

We had dinner there one evening in the week of August 17. We had a blast! The owners are very friendly and passionate about what they do. So, we ordered two pizzas the day before our departure and it was wonderful.

This was an opportunity to verify my fond memories of this place, and they were simply magnified! The menu at 23.50€, with its generous slices of foie gras and salad with a hint of duck magret…was a delicious treat. That, followed by some cheese and blue berry ice cream, and you’re ready for a peaceful siesta with very pleasant dreams!

This has been one of my favorite restaurants for many years. This time even surpassed my memories. The menu Gourmand; with it's slices of fois gras and salad with a taste of duck magret was the confirmation. It was excellent! And to finish, a bit of delicious cheese followed by some blueberry ice cream with blueberry liqueur......that was it. A delicious experience in an extremely warm setting, and only 24,50€! Where can you find something like that?!

We ate there one evening: quality cold meats and excellent fourme omelette. Hearty meal and very reasonable price.

Nice little place when you arrive at the pass, plenty of places to park, paths for walking, the inn is rustic, authentic. We were welcomed with a smile, the staff and the chef were pleasant. The Cantal Truffade Menu was copious and very good, we enjoyed ourselves and despite a very generous dish, we left nothing 😜. It is better to book in advance. The fromage blanc was great and the ice creams for dessert are great (with verbena 👍) we will come back, a good address in any case.

Horseback riding stay for 3 days at the lodge. The welcome was very warm, the rooms clean and practical for groups, with everything necessary. The ideal location for outings. The horses were pampered with a large meadow (full of grass and clean water) at their disposal. Claire and François pampered us and fed us very well during these 3 days, we enjoyed their good cuisine made with fresh and local products, without forgetting their little digestives! The setting is perfect, we were very sad to leave! The horsemen of Pollionnay.

Superb hostel, nice decor, the managers are adorable, Friday is pizza 🍕!!!! Be careful, dogs are not allowed inside, there are wooden horse boxes where they can wait 😉 We came with our 2 horses and had a very good stay.

Great welcome came there for an enduro weekend with motorcycle road trip hostel recommended very clean thank you because we were very muddy and wet a big thank you for always serving us with a smile the very good local cuisine from the super chef really an address to keep until next time without hesitation
