Le Relais Lissacois sur Lissac-Sur-Couze

We came as a hiking group and received a very warm welcome in a beautiful setting. The food was perfect, very tasty and plentiful. We had dinner, breakfast, and a picnic lunch there; everything was perfect, good value for money, and the staff were very pleasant and welcoming. We highly recommend it.

I asked chatgpt to find me a restaurant between the Travassac cliffs and the Causse lake that serves regional products, and he recommended Le Relais de Lissac. We made a reservation and weren't disappointed. The welcome was friendly, the wait reasonable despite the crowd, and when the food arrived, it was generous and indeed made with local, homemade products – it was really delicious. On Saturday lunchtimes, they offer a set menu – we were a bit surprised to find everything on one plate, but it was well presented and each course was distinct, which we found quite nice. I highly recommend it and will certainly return soon.
