We stayed from August 13th to 14th during a cycling trip. The place is magnificent, so beautiful and peaceful. The room was very comfortable and lovely, facing the Loire River and the lateral canal; it was magical and a real change of scenery. We received a very warm welcome, the breakfast was excellent, our bikes were safely stored, and we enjoyed dinner on the terrace with a delicious menu and great food. Simple restaurant in a very pleasant setting along the Loire. The food was perfectly adequate, but the service was slow, inefficient, and not very friendly. The toilets were clogged.

We stopped there by chance one lunchtime while we were on the road. We had a very good meal, everything was homemade, and the staff were very pleasant. A rare find these days!

Fantastic location – romantic, historic, and cozy. We stayed overnight here with wonderful hosts. Dinner and breakfast were fabulous. A dream place.
