Perhaps we would have had a better experience with reservations? They seemed dismayed that we didn't have reservations and reluctantly sat us at a table right by the road. Service was extremely slow and the food was just okay. I also think they were annoyed that we shared a dish. We really don't like over eating and we don't like wasting food, and when you are traveling you can't really do leftovers so...🤷🏼‍♀️ Anyway, it just wasn't a great vibe.

We went here for galettes and we were not disappointed. We both had the "Super" and really enjoyed them. I did not have a sweet crepe to finish as I was already fairly full, so had an ice cream. Washed it down with cider. The place was full and as soon as a table emptied it was refilled. We booked in advance by phone. Recommend doing that.

La Gourmandise

23/09/2026: Great little restaurant that we really love! It was our second time here and honestly, it's still just as good. The waiter was super friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. I had a pizza which was absolutely delicious, definitely homemade. My companions ordered savory buckwheat crepes which were also very good, and then sweet crepes for dessert, which were just as delicious. It's definitely becoming our go-to spot when we're on vacation in the area 😄 A great place, we'll definitely be back!
23/09/2026: The cutlery was well served nearby.

La Fermette

03/09/2026: The staff was stressed by the crowds. Otherwise, a nice place and the food was delicious.
02/09/2026: A delightful discovery when you want to get away from Mont Saint-Michel and the tourists. Delicious, homemade, and generous portions (I recommend the floating island dessert). Charming and humorous waiters. All at a very reasonable price.
