Our favorite spot when we're near Bidache. The starters are really good, the main courses or the daily special are fresh and tasty, and the desserts are just as good as the main courses. Even after all these years, it's still just as good 🤤😋

Superb cuisine, especially appreciated on August 11, 2026, for lunch with 7 hungry and joking bikers from Oloron, near Béarn (and fellow enthusiasts). Excellent welcome and service (by a little Xarnegu from Paris (🙂😉🤣)). We will definitely be back!!

A wonderful discovery! The staff were incredibly warm and friendly, the food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the prices were very reasonable. A great place to remember. THANK YOU!

I first learned about Xarnegu some time ago through the novel "The Smile of Magdalene," which includes some scenes set in this charming village of Bidache. I finally went back, and today I returned during the Santiago Festival. I loved it and highly recommend it! I'll be back. Thank you.

Everything is great, the owners are very friendly and helpful. Remember to book ahead as it gets very busy at lunchtime.

FABULOUS! We had a superb meal, the service was TOP-NOTCH, and the atmosphere was incredibly pleasant! We had a memorable evening, we highly recommend it!
