A place of beauty from which we emerge...HAPPY...: historic buildings renovated and decorated with care, delicious rooms, warm and simple owner and staff, good restaurant...the only problem: the signage to get there.. .but it’s really for looking for “the little beast” THANK YOU

Cadre splendide pour ce dîner avec coucher de soleil sur la vallée. Plats de bonne qualité et bien dressés, carte des vins avec beaucoup de ruptures de stock. Une bonne table dans un hôtel formidable.

This place is simply enchanting, the setting, the decoration in the rooms, the swimming pool, the enormous garden… A haven of peace. We were welcomed in an extremely warm and genuine manner. The lunch was of exquisite quality. Delicious homemade products, artisanal gluten-free bread available for my partner. More than satisfied we will come back.

Exceptional setting for its greenery, maintenance and tranquility A very kind welcome and support and the suitcase was brought back to the room, The room was refined, fresh and had everything you need to feel comfortable, the swimming pool (with no schedule to respect) allows you to swim with an exceptional view. Regarding the restaurant, the kitchen sets the tone from the appetizers and everything was perfect, a big congratulations to the chef who knew how to delight our taste buds, the menu at €62 is very honest, the only small note to review is the welcome/service in the restaurant, we were not made to feel at ease by the most experienced waitress who failed to smile in front of younger customers. As for breakfast, everything is very neat with homemade cakes, savory and sweet, good artisanal juices, a very nice choice! An exceptional place.

Fantastic meal outside at sunset

Diner geboekt n.a.v. een e-mail van Chartreuse de Bignac: menu Cambodgien (€68 pp) De setting van het restaurant is magnifiek, fraai uitzicht vanaf het terras waar wij ook het aperitief konden drinken. Het diner werd voorafgegaan door enkele amuses, waarvan twee smakeloos, en één lekker. Het 3 gangen menu bestond uit kleine porties, de filet de boeuf van het hoofdgerecht was doorbakken. Het dessert was simpel. Het wijnarrangement (€35 pp) bestond uit 1 karig gevuld glas Chablis, 1 eveneens karig gevuld glas Saumur (rood) en toen wij het dessert bijna op hadden nog een correct gevuld glas Monbazilliac. Het totaal vonden wij nogal prijzig voor het gebodene.
