A nice surprise despite several years of visits to the Ardèche... everything was there... smiling, friendly, and generous and very good dishes... Thank you, I will come back... (There were 10 of us at the table)

Ten of us ate, all very satisfied. We arrived hesitant, but left satisfied. The only downside, if there is one, was the road next to the terrace. Fresh cuisine and fresh produce.

A very good restaurant with a really pleasant setting and original decor that stands out from the crowd. It's certainly located near the road, but that doesn't bother you at all, especially since it's next to the canoe/kayak rental pick-up point - super convenient after a long trip down the Ardèche! The afternoon menu is a little shorter, but we appreciate being able to eat at any time in the summer. We really enjoyed ourselves, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the waitress was great: smiling, attentive, and super professional. In short, a nice surprise, we'll definitely be back!

Coming from Nièvre, a beautiful address to discover, if at first glance the place can make you doubt when passing in front on the contrary it is not!! A quality cuisine, good and beautiful products. Ardèche salad, chestnut sponge cake 👍👍 interior decoration to see, and then a rather pleasant view of the gorges!

A nice atmosphere, a terrace in the shade of the trees (on the roadside, but not disturbing and on the banks of the Ardeche), homemade, fresh cuisine, full of colors and sunshine, attentive service, a play area for children... In short, a restaurant like I would like to find more of and for a fair price! Top!

Not to be missed, the restaurant is beautiful and authentic with a super nice decor, a naturally shaded terrace, the staff is super friendly and the cuisine is excellent, it is truly a superb address

The dishes are of high quality and quantity, some of which are homemade. I recommend them. The downside is the roadside location, but it's worth the stop.

Dinner as a couple, we appreciated the welcome and the sought-after biker lodge setting 👍 The service was warm and professional We enjoyed local, homemade cuisine Special mentions for the Caillette and the Ardéchoise Trout and Trout Tartare

22/09/2025: We entered the patio a bit by chance for a cocktail... and frankly, we don't regret it. Pierrick gave us a warm welcome, directing us to the very unusual room (a former farmhouse) where there are high tables, low tables, chairs, stools, and large benches. The first evening, we kept it simple with mojitos, which turned out to be excellent. For the next three evenings, we left it to Max, the cocktail master, to surprise us with a new drink each time. They were all to our taste, even though we hardly ever drink alcohol. The Mai Tai/Espresso Martini/Jamaican Mule and Raspberry Daiquiri were lovely discoveries, but he wowed us with a cocktail that tasted like a madeleine... (yes, grandma's madeleine). We will happily return if our travels bring us back to Vallon 😁
19/09/2025: Very nice restaurant! Everything is plentiful, generous and the staff is welcoming and very friendly. We enjoyed the wings and a tasting board, so generous that we left with a doggy bag!! Not to mention the free knife. We will be back
