A very pleasant surprise during our visit to Moutiers. A single but delicious menu, all homemade and very affordable. Special mention for the rhubarb tart :-)

In the heart of Moutier, this restaurant, popular with locals, regulars, and discerning tourists alike, offers home-style cooking made with fresh, flavorful local ingredients. The cuisine is simple yet satisfying, with a set menu of starter, main course, and dessert for €17.50. The charcuterie is homemade and served in abundance. The main course features a beautiful chicken leg, and dessert is an assortment of Savoyard cheeses. There's also a good selection of Savoy wines by the glass. The owner is worth meeting—a bit grumpy but friendly, a true Savoyard...this establishment has been recommended by the Routard guide for several years.

Thank you for this wonderful home-style cooking. The bread is excellent, the dessert delicious, the mixed salad original and tasty, and the main course succulent. A single dish suitable even for children. A very pleasant setting, just steps from the Isère River and the Romanesque church. A very warm welcome with a great sense of humor. A restaurant where life is good. Thank you to the team. The restaurant can accommodate a maximum of 30 people inside, with a small shaded terrace that can seat about ten.

23/09/2026: Thank you to the restaurant for their response; I've updated my review accordingly. We had dinner for two in the evening, arrived without a reservation, and there was space available. The welcome and service were warm and friendly, no complaints there. Thank you again to the servers. Regarding the menus —> the images appear to be AI-generated, but this isn't the case according to the response below. We ordered pasta (carbonara and truffle), which we found just okay. Perhaps it wasn't for us, oh well. Apparently, the restaurant is quite popular; maybe we should have tried the pizzas 😋 Don't order the profiteroles. They're too expensive, and the choux pastry is frozen; choose one of the other desserts instead.
23/09/2026: We come to this restaurant very regularly and love everything about it. From the warm welcome to the quality of the food, everything is top-notch. The staff are always smiling, and we can't recall a single dish that disappointed us. Pasta, burgers, pizzas, daily specials—come and give it a try!
