We'd never tried North African tacos before, but the reviews were great, so we decided to give it a try. Dinner service starts at 7 PM. When we arrived, the restaurant was empty. The waiters were friendly and chatted casually. We ordered roasted lamb leg couscous and stewed lamb leg with beans. This time, we had a general idea of how to eat couscous. Based on the menu and what we saw at the next table, we ordered a vegetarian couscous. Each meal includes a stew of vegetables, plus the meat we chose. Tajine is the stewing tool. The stewed lamb leg was perfectly cooked and seasoned just right. After dinner, we went to a street-facing table for coffee, chocolate mousse, and a smoke—very satisfying. We discussed the restaurant. The staff were friendly, and the owner chatted with each customer. We even spotted several regulars during our meal. It had a homey atmosphere, suggesting consistent food quality. Couscous The portion size was perfect for two people with small to medium appetites to share. The braised lamb leg and grilled lamb skewers were also just the right size. The chocolate mousse was definitely sweet. However, it's a pity I forgot to order the traditional North African dessert. I'll definitely try it next time. One thing that really touched me this time was the Tajine pot experience. When I was almost finished eating, I noticed a crack in the pot. The crack was so noticeable that I looked closely and saw a reinforced ring around the outside of the pot, secured with screws. This added a touch of the legendary quality to the braised lamb leg. There are other North African restaurants nearby, and I'd like to try some different ones. But I'll definitely return to this "King of Couscous," as it's a delicious restaurant just a 5-minute walk from my accommodation.

Competent and friendly staff. The couscous, meatballs, and merguez sausage were excellent, as were the egg and caper brick pastry, the shakshuka, the lamb, prune, and almond tagine, and the prawn skewers. The prices for food and drinks were very reasonable. I'll be back very soon.

A reliable choice for years, their couscous is delicious and reasonably priced. The meat is good quality, the semolina and vegetables are plentiful, the service is efficient and friendly, and there's room for groups. The only downsides: grapes are extra, and the website's prices aren't up to date. The lamb kebabs are a bit small.

I'd heard good things about it, so I tried it for lunch today. Very good traditional couscous, efficient and friendly service, slightly old-fashioned decor which gives this establishment its charm, which I highly recommend.
