What a great find! We wanted to eat scrambled eggs, among other things, and they had them there. Inexpensive breakfast, motivated staff, great location. What more could you want? I would go back in a heartbeat.

The most pleasant terrace in town, quieter than others, as it's known almost exclusively to regulars. Very reasonable prices for excellent food. An unpretentious place, so it's worth a visit. The waiter is polite, nothing more... there was a time when waiters were much friendlier.

We had breakfast here twice during our stay in Strasbourg. The ambiance, with its beautiful trees and hedges, exudes tranquility. The breakfast was generous and delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. We'll be back!

My wife and I love this restaurant, and we've been coming here almost every day for years! The service is always efficient and friendly, which is really appreciated. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality. The terrace is a real asset: beautiful, peaceful, and ideally located right in the heart of Strasbourg, just steps from the cathedral. It's the perfect place to relax and have a great time. We highly recommend this restaurant!

19/07/2026: The restaurant is very well located, not far from the cathedral. Beautiful setting, lovely menu, the food is excellent. It's just a shame the service was so slow; we ordered vol-au-vent and sauerkraut, and customers who had ordered well after us were served before us. That's really the only negative point.
17/07/2026: Fantastic atmosphere at this warm and inviting restaurant! 😋😋😋 The dishes are incredibly appetizing and, as I said before, absolutely delicious! The staff are very welcoming and attentive. 🤗 I highly recommend this place! 🥰🥰🥰

Un Cantalou à Strasbourg

26/06/2026: Wonderful, a great way to get away from the tourist crowds and enjoy the local wines and cheeses. The dessert was spectacular.
22/06/2026: Absolutely brilliant! The server could not have been better. He was attentive and knowledgeable of each wine we tried. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is in the area!
