A very welcoming restaurant with fresh, quality homemade food. The menu is more than varied enough for me. You leave happy and well-fed, ensuring easy digestion. I go there as often as I can. The service is quick, which is a nice bonus. I highly recommend it. The Catalans neighborhood is very pleasant.

It was my first time at Le Romarin, and it was a wonderful discovery. The menu is very varied and interesting. As an appetizer, we were served tapenade with olive bread, which was excellent. For my main course, I personally ordered the fried sardines with fries and grilled eggplant. It was very good and very generous. The sardines were cooked perfectly, and the eggplant was meltingly tender. The fries, however, were a little too soft for my liking. Everything was served with panisses (chickpea fries) and a green salad, both very good. I came with my mother and grandmother, who were both delighted with their choices as well. We also each ordered dessert; I had the Nutella tiramisu, which was very good but (as you might expect with Nutella) quite rich. It was still a great success, but don't expect a traditional tiramisu. As for the overall atmosphere: the welcome was very warm and the attention to detail was truly appreciated. However, the music was far too loud (which led other diners to speak louder to be heard over it), and it was really difficult to hear each other even though we were seated next to each other. Aside from this major drawback, I would say that the overall experience was very, very pleasant, the food was excellent, and we were quite satisfied! I recommend it :)
