Le Rond-point sur Amiens

17/04/2026: A very pleasant restaurant on the banks of the Somme. The service is excellent and the food is very good. The only slight drawback is the small size of the dining room and the tables being very close together. Otherwise, we had a lovely time. I recommend it.

16/04/2026: We arrived on a Thursday around 1 p.m. without a reservation. We were seated inside immediately and received the menus in English upon request. Minor communication issues were quickly resolved, and our drinks and meal arrived very promptly, even though the restaurant was quite busy! The three-course meal for €35 was absolutely fine – very tasty and beautifully presented! Definitely recommended (which is probably why it's also popular with French people). The only drawback: One restroom for men and women (one enclosed toilet and one room with a saloon-style door for standing urination 🫣🙁). It felt a bit odd – other guests felt the same way… Otherwise, excellent!
