Le Rouergue is a good place for a hearty meal. The dishes are well-prepared, the portions are generous, and you can taste the comforting traditional cuisine. The service is efficient and quick, which is a plus. As for the decor, it's clearly a style that hasn't changed in a long time: it has its charm for some, but it might be a bit of a surprise. Fortunately, the food more than makes up for it.

The atmosphere at Le Rouergue is really cool and relaxed; you immediately feel at home. The food is flawless: the dishes are excellent and generous. Special mention goes to the service, which is simply impeccable. Without a doubt, one of the best restaurants in Saint-Gratien. I highly recommend it!

I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, as I had some business in the area, thinking I'd just grab a bite to eat… and it turned out to be a truly exceptional gastronomic experience, one I wasn't expecting at all. It wasn't just good, it was outstanding! A very pleasant surprise. This restaurant alone is worth the trip from Paris.

Le Clos du Chateau

02/07/2026: A delightful stop at the Brasserie Le Clos du Château in Saint-Gratien. Darling Isabelle and I stopped for a coffee, a black tea, and a slice of pistachio flan we bought next door at Maison Chaillou. A very positive first impression: a bright, well-run brasserie with a pleasant and refined atmosphere. Special mention to the staff we met: very friendly, elegant, and helpful employees. Thank you to Isabelle for her charm and kindness, and thank you to Victor for his natural elegance and welcoming manner. We will gladly return, this time for lunch to try the daily specials. Based on what we saw, tasted, and experienced, I highly recommend it. See you soon. I've tested it: you could eat in them, they're so clean! I therefore conclude that the kitchens undoubtedly meet hygiene and safety standards, and that's coming from a firefighter.
