We had expected just a little more. Service was okay, food was average. General hygiene in the establishment could be much better; this establishment has a distortedly higher score due to the large number of reviews. There is still much room for improvement. Response to the owner's comment: As you can read in my review, I did not write that the food was bad, but average. The price-quality ratio was substandard compared to what we experienced in other establishments in your region this same weekend. Such as, for example, the low-budget chicken nuggets on the kids' menu. Coca Zero was sold out? And now that you are asking me to pull out all the stops—which I did not intend to do and where I was still limited in my original review: Your toilet was filthy, We were given a used wine glass when the wine was served. The water in the carafe was not 100% pure; small chunks were floating around in it. The cutlery and glasses on the table were not clean, but stained. Now that I think about it, the table next to us also complained about the fish they received when paying the bill. Perhaps you don't handle negative criticism well, and you could work on it so that you won't have to read reviews like mine in the future.

We spent a short time there for the scallop festival and had lunch several times, each time trying different dishes. Everything was impeccable, nothing to complain about. The chef was top-notch, and the owner and his team were very friendly.

A wonderful discovery at Le Roulis restaurant in Étaples! We went on a Friday evening and had a lovely time. The lady who served us was incredibly kind and friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We ordered the daily special (chicken with Maroilles cheese), beef tartare, and a salad with fried Camembert, and everything was delicious. The ingredients seemed fresh and well-prepared. The restaurant might not look like much at first glance, but the quality is excellent and the prices are reasonable. A pleasant surprise that we highly recommend 😊
