Le Royal Bambou sur Neuville-Sur-Oise

I really don't understand the negative reviews because we're regulars at this restaurant and we're never disappointed. There's a great selection of appetizers, main courses, and desserts. It's true that the desserts in the fridges are defrosted, but that's clearly indicated. Besides, there's always a microwave available; you just have to keep an eye out and wander around the counters, and if necessary, ask for help! So, if you're expecting 4-star service and cuisine, this isn't the place for you.

The food is very good, I recommend it.

A friendly team and a well-stocked and very diverse buffet

Unfortunately, there wasn't much choice compared to other all-you-can-eat buffets. However, the service was exceptional; they were absolutely lovely, and everything was delicious. It's just a shame about the limited selection.

Overall a good restaurant, but one of many Asian restaurants where you can eat just about anything.

I've been coming here for years, but since the renovations and COVID, the atmosphere isn't the same. Yet the restaurant is packed and still very busy. The problem is that you have to ask for your food at 9:30 pm; it should be automatic like it used to be. Otherwise, the selection is still there, but not as extensive as it used to be. Once we'd finished eating, when it came time to pay the bill, we used to get those famous little hot towels to clean our hands ✋✋. Well, those are gone. In short, a victim of its own success, I was a little disappointed not to find the same Royal restaurant I knew before COVID.

We arrived at 9:45 am. The restaurant closed at 11:00 am and there was nothing left in the buffet. Considering the price in the evening, I find this unacceptable. Don't go there at that hour.

We arrived at 7 pm, then went to the cinema. The service was absolutely fantastic, the food was good, and the cashier was incredibly friendly. It's a welcome change from a few years ago. Go without hesitation!
