The food was delicious and the dishes were prepared with great care. The warm welcome and pleasant atmosphere made this a truly enjoyable meal.

A lovely place for our second visit two years ago. We feel that the service and the overall ambiance have declined. Chipped dishes, worn wine glasses with stains from repeated washings, a cobweb on the window handle at eye level, dust in the decorative niches next to the kitchens, and a dreadful restroom! All of this was politely pointed out. However, the food and dishes were very good and flavorful from appetizer to dessert.

- Summary: A very beautiful, calm, and intimate setting, with a pleasant atmosphere and a direct view of the kitchens without the noise. The service was smooth, probably helped by our early arrival. The food was a mixed bag: some very good dishes, but also several disappointments, especially considering the bill of €183 for three people. - Details of our experience: The restaurant is located in an old building adjoining a castle, which gives it a lot of charm. The atmosphere is calm, elegant, and intimate. We particularly appreciated the direct view of the kitchens without being bothered by the noise, which was very pleasant. The aperitif was well served. However, a minor complaint about the cumin popcorn was that it was far too oily: you could really taste the oil oozing out, which gave a rather strange sensation. The foie gras was served in a generous slice, accompanied by small gelatinous cubes. The crispy toasts with dried fruit paired very well with the dish, although three small slices for two people seemed a bit stingy. The salmon tartare was fresh, but the cilantro was overpowering. Several flavors clashed in the mouth, probably too many, to the point that the salmon flavor was ultimately lost. This dish didn't really win me over. As for the veal, the vegetables were fresh, tender, and varied. The pieces of meat seemed rather small, about 100g by the looks of it. The cooking was uneven: some pieces were perfectly cooked, others much overcooked. Fortunately, the sauce was excellent and really redeemed the dish. I enjoyed mopping up every last bit of it. The poultry was decent: the chicken breast was well-cooked, well-seasoned, with a touch of cumin. The variety of vegetables was also appreciated. As for the chocolate dessert, there were two of us chocolate lovers at the table, and the results were mixed. The ice cream was delicious, the financier rather average, but the chocolate mousse was not a hit. The white mousse, in particular, had a strange and difficult-to-identify flavor that left us perplexed. A shame, because we expected more from this dessert. The cheese course, on the other hand, was a great success. The selection was very good, and I enjoyed it very much. I had the impression that the cheese might have been left out of the refrigerator for a while, but honestly, I didn't mind it. In the end, we had a pleasant time in a beautiful setting, but the culinary experience was inconsistent. At €183 for three people, the price-quality ratio seems a bit high. The restaurant has potential, but a few adjustments would be necessary for the food to truly live up to the ambiance.

We were looking for something different, with sophisticated but not stuffy cuisine, with real flavors, and we found it. Kudos to the chefs and thank you to the staff; we had a wonderful culinary and overall experience for my birthday. The setting was lovely. We'll be back!
