May 1, 2026 A sunny café overlooking the old port We had breakfast on the outdoor terrace. Facing the towers of La Rochelle. The waitress was lovely. The view was magnificent.

We went there for lunch somewhat by chance. A pleasant surprise, contrary to what some reviews have mentioned. We received a warm welcome, and there was no wait for our order or the service. My husband's Caesar salad was good, as were the penne with salmon that I ordered. The apricot and pistachio tart for dessert was also very good. Good value for money, well located on the port. The only slight drawback was the lack of heating.

07/06/2026: Excellent food, impeccable service, the three ladies are incredibly friendly and pleasant. The fries are homemade and the butcher's cut is incredibly tender and cooked to perfection. And the value for money is unbeatable for the location.
