May 1, 2026 A sunny café overlooking the old port We had breakfast on the outdoor terrace. Facing the towers of La Rochelle. The waitress was lovely. The view was magnificent.

We went there for lunch somewhat by chance. A pleasant surprise, contrary to what some reviews have mentioned. We received a warm welcome, and there was no wait for our order or the service. My husband's Caesar salad was good, as were the penne with salmon that I ordered. The apricot and pistachio tart for dessert was also very good. Good value for money, well located on the port. The only slight drawback was the lack of heating.

08/05/2026: We just ate at this restaurant tonight, pleasant welcome, fast service, very good foie gras, good dish, I recommend it as a visitor to La Rochelle, it was a gustatory pleasure!
