Le Rustique sur Mont-De-Lans

My husband and I have been coming to this restaurant for dinner every year for the past four years. I love coming here for the atmosphere and the quality of the food. On our last visit, we were served by Martin, who was absolutely fantastic. We enjoyed a raclette, and the cheese was delicious and top-notch! A must-try in Les Deux Alpes!

Highly recommended restaurant, 8 out of 5 stars. From start to finish, we couldn't find a single flaw. We were greeted by two very friendly people and seated upstairs. We followed the advice and explanations of the manager and his server (and were very happy that they were able to answer our questions). Everything was perfect. My partner and I ordered the "Beef-Chicken Braised Meat" and the "Beef-Chicken-Duck Braised Meat" with cheese as an extra (I recommend Reblochon). It was excellent; the meat was very tender. The idea of ​​cooking our own meat is fantastic (it allows us to cook it exactly to our liking). The accompanying sauces are also truly excellent and well-crafted; you can taste the difference. The Honey Mayo and Pepper sauces are quite different from what you usually find. The drinks and wine list offers a wide selection (we had the Massif d'Uchaux bottle, and it was truly delightful and paired perfectly with the meal). And finally, the dessert was flawless. I highly recommend the Nougat Glacé, which was absolutely excellent (it's not ice cream, but rather a piece of Yule log, and it was incredibly delicious). For the nitpickers, there are three minor drawbacks, but nothing that bothered us: it's rather cramped, there's some noise due to the restaurant's size, and the heat from the brazier (which was quickly removed after the meal).
