The prices are a little more affordable. But I didn't like the layout of Géant. So at this level Auchan hasn't changed anything so I feel bad about it.

Edit: my previous review was from around 1 year ago, during the era of the Géant Casino brand (only star ⭐️). It would be nice if Google removed all the comments that concerned the Giant…. In recent months, the brand has changed, it is an Auchan. Prices are much more affordable, especially for meat. The choice of Auchan products is much greater than what the Casino brand offered, and the fruits and vegetables have a better appearance, which is more attractive. For the points a little less good, I don't know if it's because of the hours when I go there but I don't think I've ever seen more than one open cash register I regularly go to the checkout with the scanner, and the checks are far too frequent, almost 100%. If it's a random check, it's surprising. We try to save time by scanning groceries and ultimately we waste time at the checkout. Also, just like cow's milk, it is useless to refrigerate vegetable milks, as long as they are not opened, on the contrary, they must be in an ambient and dry environment, so it would be good to take them out of the refrigerators. Overall, it remains positive and I am satisfied with the change of brand. Old comment regarding Giant: Several months ago, I had already decided to no longer go to this store for several reasons: the prices of the items, the limited choices in certain sections (notably the spice brands), the fruit and vegetable section still poorly. held, the loyalty system was unsuitable. I even contacted 2 national offices of competing brands by email to find out if they planned to install hypermarkets in the area. The proximity means that it is almost the only large hypermarket in the area, we don't have much choice... We can agree that the choices of items have diversified, particularly in the spices section, that the fruit and vegetables section is really much better stocked and makes you want to eat a lot more. On the other hand, the prices are always exorbitant and I am talking about the brand of the “Casino” brand. Comparatively, competing brands are much cheaper. The loyalty system sucks, always compared to competing brands. Being a card holder does not guarantee you any discounts. Nothing is automatic, you must validate the reductions in advance on the application. If you forget, no Promo even if you have the card. If you want more promotions, you can pay for an additional subscription, which often doesn't bring you the price of the monthly subscription. Nothing can be combined with anything, most of the time vouchers cannot be combined with each other or even with brand discount vouchers that you might receive. So in the end, what matters is not helping the customer and their purchasing power but rather getting them to spend as much as possible. Not to mention that contact with the hostesses is random. Some are friendly, others less (in the context of a respectful conversation). All this to come to the fact that this time, it is indeed definitive, despite the cost of fuel, I prefer to do around ten km more (20 round trip), because I will still gain on the price of shopping.

A little dated but has the merit of being open on Sunday Please note, the gallery toilets are clean but there are no baby changing facilities. A plus with the super charger in the parking lot.

The supermarket is large but very few checkouts with hostesses. Lots of self-checkouts not ideal when you're filling a cart. Never a very busy place. Shopping gallery rather meager with a few dozen shops

I am delighted that Auchan has arrived in the region. Used to doing my shopping in Bordeaux Lac, I can finally go less far. I don't understand the negative opinions on prices, my weekly basket costs me on average €20 less than when it was Casino. And some products are even a little cheaper than at Auchan Bordeaux Lac (it’s a few cents, but over a year, it counts!) There are also more checkouts open than before, even outside peak hours, and there are therefore fewer waits and queues. I am always welcomed there and with a smile!

22/08/2024: Si je pouvais mettre 10 ⭐️ je le ferais 😃 ! En week-end de 4 jours (pont du 15 août oblige 😉) à Saint André de Cubzac, nous arrivons à notre hôtel et décidons de repérer les lieux. Nous arrivons devant le restaurant Meuh ! Nous sommes surpris, nous ne connaissons pas ! Nous regardons vite fait la carte et nous décidons d'entrée car le prix des menus nous paraît raisonnable comparé à une autre enseigne que nous connaissons bien et qui n'est pas très loin de ce restaurant. Nous entrons et tout de suite nous apprécions le cadre. Nous sommes accueilli par un homme très charmant qui nous installe, et nous tend la carte. J'ai adoré cette carte car elle comporte 3 menus avec des choix variés. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié nos plats mais également l'ambiance du restaurant, le professionnalisme de toute l'équipe. Nous étions aux petits soins de cette équipe dynamique qui vous fait passer un agréable moment et qui vous fait comprendre que vous n'êtes pas qu'une table et une addition comme nous l'a si bien expliqué Olivier le très sympathique Gérant de ce restaurant. Nous y sommes retourné le soir juste pour prendre un délicieux cocktail sur la Terrasse magnifiquement décorée, puis le lendemain soir et finalement comme nous avons passé une très bonne soirée nous y sommes retourné pour notre dernière soirée à Saint André de Cubzac. Nous avons définitivement adopté ce restaurant, Olivier et toute son équipe💜 😃 le seul regret !! Que le restaurant ne soit pas près de chez nous 🤭😁. Si vous arrivez devant ce restaurant, n'hésitez pas, vous ne serez pas déçu.
13/08/2024: Très belle découverte restaurant très bon les frites sont à tomber et la viande et très bonne leur tiramisu aux spéculos et leur île flottante sont délicieux arrêt en rentrant sur la route au retour de vacances j irai sans hésiter dans un restaurant près de chez moi très bon acceuil et très bon rapport qualité prix
