A wonderful Valentine's Day evening at Saint-Christophe... A special menu for the occasion. Always of the highest quality. The "lovers' cocktail" was exquisite. Impeccable service. We were greeted by the manager. A very intimate, warm, and pleasant atmosphere at a large round table just for the two of us. Thank you again for this very special moment with my wife. Looking forward to another enjoyable evening...

16/02/2026: The setting is pleasant. The quality of the food is acceptable. However, the service is clearly not up to the standard this establishment claims to be. Indeed, the waitstaff is not trained in the basic principles of a high-end restaurant (the sommelier pointed at the lady, the waiter had long fingernails and presented the dishes to the gentleman first, the head waitress cleared the tablecloths from our table while turning on the iron in front of us, even though we hadn't finished our meal). Local radio played as background music (it felt like we were in a roadside diner). And what a shame to present the menu on a large, poorly written handwritten board, and the wine list on three photocopied and stapled sheets...

05/03/2026: We've been coming to Courte Paille Saint Jean de Braye for almost 10 years and the welcome is always so warm. We're never disappointed by the food. The friendly staff always makes us want to come back. 😊
01/03/2026: New Year's Eve at this Courtepaille was fantastic, the staff and atmosphere were top-notch... It was a lovely touch to be greeted with a Happy New Year by all the staff. Well done!
