A charming setting and generous cuisine We had a lovely time at this restaurant with its impeccable setting and tasteful decor. The portions were generous. The beef was cooked to perfection, and the ingredients were high quality, from the appetizers to the desserts (the Poire Belle-Hélène and the crème brûlée were very good). The style of cooking remains very traditional, even a bit classic in its presentation, but it's effective and the flavor is there. The only slight drawback of our evening was the noise level: we were hoping for a quiet romantic dinner, but the proximity of a very noisy neighboring table somewhat disrupted the intimacy of our tête-à-tête. Regarding the service, it was adequate. We would have appreciated a little more attention or a quick check to see if everything was to our liking during the meal, which would have added a touch of conviviality to the experience. A good address in Vouziers for those who enjoy traditional cuisine and elegant settings.
