Le Saint Jacques - FERMÉ sur Laprade

A warm welcome, refined home cooking, and a friendly atmosphere made my birthday truly special! With frog legs in Ricard sauce, a porcini mushroom omelet (or rather, porcini mushrooms in an omelet), and a canelé dessert, we had a wonderful meal! Not to mention the thoughtful touch at the end... Go without hesitation!

This is the best restaurant in Aubeterre, without a doubt. Go there without hesitation! It's been almost two years since the new owner and his wife took over, and it shows in the dishes and especially in the taste.

Back to this beloved address, which has changed management and chef. The welcome and service are impeccable. The dishes are excellent, the cuisine is good and refined. The only downside is the disappearance from the menu of the famous double roast pork chop and/or pork knuckle (depending on the season), in keeping with the name of the establishment. The pig's trotters would be usefully complemented by another pork dish 🐷

Excellent and friendly welcome from the owner, pleasant dining room, and extraordinary cuisine prepared on-site with fresh, regional produce. We'll be back.

Very good address. Fast service, very friendly waitress and excellent dishes. Nothing to complain about except go there!

Excellent food and a splendid location.

We shared a family meal at Cochon Prieur, a restaurant run by Jérémy in the kitchen and Adélaïde in the waitress's office. We enjoyed the lovely terrace and the excellent cuisine, made with fresh produce and elegantly presented. A big thank you!
