Le Saint Jacques - FERMÉ sur Laprade

A charming little country inn, retaining its authentic character, where you feel right at home. No frills. Good, traditional cuisine. The crumble was delicious... Reasonable prices. A very warm welcome and excellent service from a very friendly lady. It's a lovely experience. We plan to return soon.

Great setting outside, we didn't have to wait long. And the meal was very good, the pork with mustard was excellent, and especially the tarte tatin with its whipped cream; my mother and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

While visiting the underground church, we had lunch at this establishment. The welcome was pleasant, the cuisine excellent, featuring local products, and the prices reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant.

A warm welcome, refined home cooking, and a friendly atmosphere made my birthday truly special! With frog legs in Ricard sauce, a porcini mushroom omelet (or rather, porcini mushrooms in an omelet), and a canelé dessert, we had a wonderful meal! Not to mention the thoughtful touch at the end... Go without hesitation!

This is the best restaurant in Aubeterre, without a doubt. Go there without hesitation! It's been almost two years since the new owner and his wife took over, and it shows in the dishes and especially in the taste.
