Le Saint Mihiel sur Nantes

I just discovered the best brownie in Nantes there, perfectly fudgy and makes you want to come back 😍

Everyone is very welcoming at St Mihiel. And the food is excellent. I go there almost every day!

A pleasant place to relax. The food is simple, the dishes don't change much, but the price is reasonable and the quality is good too. The terrace is large, the interior is a bit dark (cozy), which gives it a more soothing atmosphere. The staff are friendly, as is the owner.

A café like they used to make: low prices, beautiful plates, fast service, and great music. But the best part is the servers. You feel right at home, like you're meeting up with friends. They're so attentive and always have a big smile—it's so rare. I've never wanted to work somewhere so much. If you want to meet such kind and genuine people, not pay a fortune, and have a great time, look no further!

Good experience at this brasserie; we were expecting very basic food and were pleasantly surprised.

The sunny terrace was lovely, but €6.20 for grapefruit juice?? What's more, it was served directly into a glass and not from a bottle… I certainly hope it was freshly squeezed grapefruit at that price?! I highly doubt it!

As a local resident, I wouldn't miss my morning coffee at St Mihiel for anything. It's a lively yet relaxing place. The staff is young and friendly. There's a great atmosphere. Best of luck to the owners.

Excellent experience. Delicious grilled octopus and tender vegetables with a lovely sauce. Enjoyed on the terrace overlooking the Erdre River. The only downside was the nearby tram. Very good espresso.
