If you're looking for typical, authentic cuisine in a casual, relaxed atmosphere, great value for money, and an outstanding host, then Christian is definitely the right place for you. His wife, Hélène, is in the kitchen, and he looks after his guests with his inimitable style and passion. The fact that the diners were primarily locals and regulars speaks volumes. We were there for two consecutive evenings at the beginning of September and will definitely return on our next stay in Arles. Once again, a big thank you to Christian.

We ate well, drank well and had a great time! Excellent local cuisine full of flavors in a setting that was certainly less touristy than the city center but a little more authentic.

Good experience. All the dishes were good. We enjoyed the mist maker, a nice alternative to air conditioning. I especially recommend the bourride.

It's always a great pleasure to go to Christian's shaded terrace. He is very professional and efficient, as well as extremely friendly, and welcomes us as if we were at home. His wife, in the kitchen, produces tasty, generous, and authentic traditional French cuisine using fresh produce. Special mention goes to the fabulous oysters and fish of the day, particularly well-chosen at the market. Dessert is also homemade (rare), so go for the floating island!

When you've become accustomed to being wary of restaurants in tourist towns, like me, you're initially wary. The menu: three handwritten slates for the entire restaurant, which the owner places on the tables in turn. When you get one, you're happy. You have to investigate to find out what the daily specials and desserts are ("Oh, so many things, pies, ice creams, creams..."), but when it's your turn, it's just like home: smiles, natural humor, simplicity, even complicity. Then the party begins: The starter, sardines in homemade oil, and mixed salad are a feast of forgotten, unique, and surprising flavors. No doubt about it, it's homemade! The main course, the same. The dessert (pie, crème brûlée), terrific! We want more! In short, this restaurant's generous and refined cuisine (at very reasonable prices) will help you reconnect with life and bring back wonderful childhood memories... Keep it up, dear restaurateurs! We love it!
