Le Salengro sur Mantes-La-Ville

27/06/2026: The setting is magical: an old mill, a river, a terrace overlooking the garden, a spacious room with a fireplace where the tables are well-spaced. The service is extraordinary. We were greeted by a charming person who personally attended to us. I've been there three or four times. But the food doesn't live up to the setting and the service! A huge disappointment the last two times. What a shame! With a talented chef and a proper kitchen team, this restaurant would be a huge success!

21/06/2026: A very pleasant and welcoming place with garden access. You can choose between dining indoors or outdoors. The food is excellent, and the wine list features wines from various regions with a price range starting at very affordable prices (just over €20 for a bottle). The wine was served at the perfect temperature, even though it was 34 degrees Celsius during our lunch. The servers are very welcoming. In short, it's a very good place to eat.
