Excellent restaurant with reasonable prices (compared to other restaurants in Dax that are really overpriced). Varied and high-quality dishes, local cuisine, fast service. The gourmet coffee is especially exceptional 👍

Leaving Les Halles, a little disappointed by the friendliness of the shopkeepers, we wandered through the side streets and stumbled upon "Le Valmont," a very nice place with pleasant, laid-back staff. The portions were generous and the service was quick. We had a very good meal.

We shared a wonderful family meal at this small restaurant in downtown Dax. The menu offers a variety of traditional French and southwestern dishes. I opted for the scallops with butter and mashed potatoes—what a treat! The homemade profiteroles will transport you back to childhood for dessert; I highly recommend them. Don't forget to book in advance, as the restaurant is full every lunchtime.

A fantastic restaurant. The duck with foie gras is incredible. Very peaceful and pleasant atmosphere, the service very attentive and friendly. If I were to return to Dax, I would definitely eat here again without comparing it to any other restaurant.

09/01/2026: I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant, which may look small from the outside, but boasts a superb mezzanine and charming decor! The waiter was very kind and responsive, and the food was truly excellent! The portions were perfectly sized; we enjoyed our meal without overeating.
