We have stayed at San Carlu several times and have enjoyed our stay each time. Large selection of good food and drinks, very good and attentive service, great atmosphere under the pergola.
Bien situé à proximité de la mer, ce restaurant offre une terrasse agréable ainsi qu'un parking privatif pour la clientèle. Service dans la normale et souriant, je regrette que les pennes aux gambas soient servies avec des 'petite' crevettes décortiquées. Dommage.
12/07/2024: Très beau et très bon restaurant en bord de mer… cliente plutôt bobo qui va avec le camping de luxe…. Souhait de la direction d attirer de riches clients
29/05/2024: We are staying at the campsite next door and saw this restaurant from the beach which looked appealing with a varied menu. It is a busy place ( so reserve) and we were not disappointed: the charcuterie board and bread was delicious as well as the 'poulpe'( octopus).. only disappointment was the vegetarian pizza which was too heavy on the cheese and light on the tomato sauce and vegetables. The drinks...apero spritz and wine were delicious. Lastly, the manager from La Rochelle was very professional.. serving the wine, asking for feedback etc. Not your cheapest paillotte to visit on your trip but well worth the stop!! Try to reserve in advance!
