Le Sapey sur Les Deserts

A large, pleasant area renowned for cross-country skiing. I went snowshoeing and really enjoyed the scenery.

A mountain area that is somewhat lacking in snow cover and infrastructure.

Still a little snow and a few cross-country skiers.

A beautiful place with a family-friendly resort where you can easily spend the day.

Amazing ski area, breathtaking scenery, a resort (La Féclaz) with a manageable size, and incredible peace and quiet. It was almost perfect, and then on the first day, during the first hour, I lost my day pass on the slopes when I wanted to try skiing again after years without doing so. I immediately went to the ticket office... No duplicate, I had to buy a new pass... The reason: if a skier (who had obviously gone up with their pass) found mine and decided to use it fraudulently (they wouldn't have gone crazy... the resort closes at 5 pm). I was really upset!

Following my review last week (see below), I'm pleased to note that the grooming of the Nordic area was perfect again yesterday and today. Well done to the Nordic team for their responsiveness and thank you for their work throughout the season. This time you deserve five stars instead of last week's one! Savoie, goodbye to quality Nordic grooming. Pathetic and not up to the image the resort wants to project. Holes and ruts in the middle of the smooth surface, not to mention the barely visible classic tracks, despite abundant and high-quality snow. In short, deplorable 😤

It's a great place, and we have so many good memories now. We'll be back.
