Sarawan is a neighborhood institution. The atmosphere, the staff, and the clientele are reminiscent of another era. It's a family-run restaurant, and its standard is superior to other restaurants in the area. The food remains consistently good and enjoyable, a reputation it has maintained for many years. You absolutely must try the caramel pork, but the homemade spring rolls are also worth the trip. And in reality, everything is delicious. In conclusion, you'll have a wonderful time at Sarawan, and I go back from time to time.

Every time my wife and I go up to Paris, we go to Sarawan. A must-try. Delicious. I highly recommend it.

18/07/2026: Probably the most authentic Vietnamese restaurant in Paris. Cheaper than most. The two ladies running the joint don’t miss a beat. Kind, warm, even gracious enough to walk us to the nearest ATM because they don’t take card. I can understand why they’d be cutting such costs, remaining an affordable spot for great Pho right in the centre of Paris. Politically neutral (Saigon AND Hanoi available).
