We were here on Whit Monday. Mega busy. We sat upstairs, which is really terrible in terms of noise. The pizza was very generously topped. The service was very friendly. We had to wait a very long time for our food.
What happened???
We didn't find the Sardinia we knew from just a few months ago.
The service was appalling (the waiter was on his phone and barely pleasant).
The food was unappetizing, if at all.
Very disappointed...
We actually wanted to eat across the street, but when we arrived, the two chefs were smoking outside... that quickly puts an end to my appetite. So we came here anyway, with a nervous heart, because the reviews here aren't entirely positive. We each ordered a pizza (wood-fired), and it was unexpectedly delicious. Very generously topped with tasty ingredients. The best pizza Margherita I have ever eaten! With fresh buffalo mozzarella on top. A bottle of wine to go with it, and we walked out with less than 60 EUR. Moreover, the service was friendly and professional (man with a beard). If I am back in Epernay, I will return to this restaurant for the pizza!
Great lunch menu for €21 with tuna tartare, Boeuf Bourguignon, and crème brûlée, which unfortunately wasn't the classic version.
Very friendly waiter and a great champagne recommendation. We then visited the champagne producer and bought some there.
