29/06/2026: Never had such a bad sushi in my life. I couldnt finish my dinner because i suspected the ingredients is not safe to eat.

29/06/2026: We waited 1.5h for our order even though the waiting time was initially 50min. The rice in sushi was very badly prepared and the fish tasted bad, maybe expired already. So far the worst sushi I have ever had. The server was alone in the kitchen and in the whole restaurant and it seemed like it was his first day at work and first time making sushi. Maybe he was still learning from the cookbook. Not professional!

14/06/2026: We were a group of 11. We came one day after our reservation (mistake from my side). The restaurant was able to help us and prepare a table for 11 on the spot. No complain about our no show the day before. They were happy to help us. The food was very good. People enjoyed fois gras, I loved my poched egg in Chaource creamy sauce. Many choose the duck burger and compliment it. Several chose pain perdu as dessert and it was their first time, they liked it a lot. We had the restaurant champagne, good ratio price/ quality .Service was really nice, easy going but professional. Toilets were clean and the cellar looks very good. There was no long waiting time. 11 persons (unexpected) and all took à la carte. Impressed. Thanks. I will come back.

As for the food, it was a real treat: the risotto and the duck confit burger were delicious. This trip to Épernay was flawless from start to finish. 29/05/2026: Third time at this coffee shop, and I was even hesitant to go. But the closing time suited me, and they allowed laptops, so I went. My biggest mistake was ordering an iced matcha with oat milk instead of a regular espresso, but after 4 p.m., the decision was made for me. So... the ice machine wasn't producing enough ice, and with the heat we're having in Paris right now, I know that happens often in coffee shops where the ice machines struggle a bit. Well, this one was definitely a budget model (I saw it behind the bar). The barista warned me there would be a wait because of it; no problem for me. I had a cookie while I waited: not bad, but not the best cookie of my life either. The matcha arrived at the table, and, without exaggeration, it was a pint. I'm willing to pay €6.50 for a drink, but I want quality, not quantity... The three or four tiny ice cubes had melted after just two minutes, and the drink was simply... oat milk. As someone who likes matcha quite pure, with a beautiful color and a truly high-quality taste, I didn't appreciate this "matcha" at all, especially considering it cost €6.50 plus an extra €0.50 for the plant-based milk. Of course, I drank it because I hate to waste food, but frankly, it wasn't good at all. Sorry! Please do better.
