Le Saut du Loup sur Courmes

Nice waterfall, access costs one euro

Hello, we stumbled upon the Saut du Loup waterfall by chance on a weekday at the end of September. The parking lot was nearly empty, and we had the "viewing terrace" all to ourselves. It offers a magnificent view of a river valley with waterfalls. You can see how the water carves its way through the rocks. We thought the visit was well worth it. It's best to have the exact €1 entrance fee; otherwise, you can get change at the lavender shop. Entry is through a turnstile.

For a one-euro entrance fee, there was an impressive view of the waterfall and the gorge below. The restaurant was currently being renovated. Next door, there's a shop selling lavender products. Recommended for a short stop.

A beautiful waterfall that you can quickly walk around. We spent more time in the shop learning about the benefits of lavender and how the products are made from a very welcoming artisan who is passionate about his craft.

We couldn't visit them; they don't allow dogs. What a shame!

€1 entrance fee for a very short experience. It was nice to see and a pleasant stop on the way to Gourdon. The staff were very friendly.

It was a bit disappointing, as it's just a bridge with a view from the top. We thought you could walk further down. The drive through the valley, however, was really cool. So if you're in the area, it's worth driving by, but don't have overly high expectations and enjoy the drive itself :)

Beautiful waterfalls, very low price. The drive there and back is breathtakingly beautiful at times. Good parking. It's a shame the restaurant was occupied before us.
