When you arrive on the plateau and see this building nestled in nature, it's impressive! We stayed there one night; the room is basic, but that's all you need. The common room is very well-equipped. Everything is clean. The only downside was the rather mediocre evening meal.

I spent a night at Le Sauvage on my Camino de Santiago pilgrimage. The legend is well-deserved: it's a magical and magnificent place. Waking up to the mist over the surrounding meadows is a gift from heaven. But that's not all! The staff's welcome, even amidst the crowds, is exceptional! With smiles always on their faces, the staff goes out of their way to care for all the pilgrims. The meal is perfect for reviving walkers, and the produce comes from nearby farms. You can't get more local than that, since some of the partners are farmers themselves. Well done to everyone, and thank you again!

Family lunch, simple cuisine. Beautiful setting.

A very warm welcome, starting with an answer to the phone. This is worth mentioning, as not all hostels bother to answer the phone, by the way. One can assume it's because they're full and, as is common practice, they look for a plan B... Not very cool. We would have liked an answer, any answer at all: Yes... No... Or even...! Because when you're on the trails, you're often tired at the end of the day, and so on and so forth... But anyway, moving on... Plan B... B as in Business is Business... This is also the case on the trails, as in very touristy places... What a shame! And here, no! The hostel was full, but luckily, there was the possibility of bivouacking on a lovely grassy area with access to showers and a spacious, heated indoor area. It was perfect because it was cold in the middle of May... We had dinner and a very hearty breakfast, with good, varied products. The welcome was friendly and really geared towards walkers. We were on bikes, and there was a dedicated shelter! Perfect! And the setting is fantastic! 🤩 Why not 5 stars? Because it was fully booked with a group of about twenty (30?) energetic Belgians, and well... Bad luck. But that's what happens when you don't book in advance... We accept it! And we thank our hosts! 👌🙏👏 See you next time! This is already the third time we've stayed here! 😄

We spent a night at Le Sauvage, as we did in 2022, and were charmed by the place. We received a warm welcome and our group enjoyed the meal. The rooms are comfortable, and having private bathrooms is a definite plus. I recommend this guesthouse.

I spent a night at the Auberge du Sauvage and I could have easily stayed longer... A magnificent setting, spacious rooms, a pleasant atmosphere, a thoroughly satisfying meal, and an interesting presentation of this beautiful project that gives the place its soul. A very warm welcome Homemade cuisine A pleasant place In a dreamlike setting

A superb stop on our Camino de Santiago. The dormitory was very clean with linens included, and two showers and one toilet per floor—perfect! The food was excellent, made with fresh, local ingredients. The place is definitely worth a visit!
