Excellent gourmet food, great atmosphere, and efficient and friendly service! ☺️ A very enjoyable experience

Really nice - good for medium to large groups.

We had a really lovely lunch at Le Savoyard in Chambéry and went for the menu du jour, which turned out to be a great choice. It started with a simple salad topped with warm goat cheese toast—fresh and very tasty. The hake was beautifully cooked, served with a light, delicate sauce and a nice mix of vegetables, including artichoke hearts. Everything felt well balanced and thoughtfully prepared. Dessert was a baked apple with applesauce and crumble—nothing complicated, just really good and comforting. Service was impeccable—friendly, attentive, and easygoing without being over the top. With a glass of wine, the total was just under €45 for two, which felt more than fair for the quality. Definitely recommend if you’re in Chambéry—we’d happily go back. Very good restaurant, excellent service.

The food was absolutely amazing! I’d definitely recommend booking too as we’ve stayed in Chambery a few times on the drive back from ski trips and tried to get in here for food with no success until we booked. It’s definitely the best meal I’ve had in Chambery for sure!

We came for dinner as a party of nine to celebrate a friend's birthday and we had a wonderful meal. The food was truly excellent, beautifully presented, and plentiful. We thoroughly enjoyed it from beginning to end, and for that reason, we highly recommend this establishment. The service at our table was also very good; the servers who looked after us were pleasant, efficient, and professional. However, we were rather disappointed by the attitude of the person who seemed to be the manager. We felt somewhat rushed out around 10:50 pm, which was a shame to have that feeling when the evening was ending so well. So, in a lighthearted and convivial atmosphere, we asked if the restaurant offered a complimentary digestif for our friend's birthday before we left. He replied that it could have been offered if he hadn't "requested" it, but in reality, it was never actually offered. We also noticed that the five after-dinner drinks (around €40) were included on the bill, despite it totaling over €450. This isn't a question of value, but rather a matter of customer service, which would have been appreciated in this context. It's a shame about that, because the food and the service were truly excellent.
