Le Savoyard sur Bourges

Looking for a restaurant during a weekend in Berry, our getaway brought us to this brand. It won't take a long look at the menu to be tempted! However, accompanied by a little doggie, we prefer to ask permission before entering! Agreement much more than jovial and cordial, we are delighted and doggie will be the first served (in water!) Skipping the details, we discovered the matafan, a thick crepe gratinated a bit like a crust, a dish as good as it is substantial! I'll try it at home! The second is a beautiful plate of diots which I enjoyed. The wine list presents good products, but at prices that did not appeal to us. We chose the vintage of the boss who does the work. Desserts with Savoyard names for ice cream hide flavors of other origins, but we get the idea! All this in a busy setting, but so good! A little place that exudes conviviality and which allowed us to spend a very, very good evening. A smiling and warm service, you can feel the investment both in the dining room and in the kitchen and that's a pleasure. If there are some hazards, we erase them because we feel good. I recommend it and if I had to do it again I would go back. Thank you to the staff for this very nice break in our weekend. We didn't have a reservation, however the room filled up quickly, so I would recommend doing so.

Great decor! Top fondue, friendly staff.

Without having taken the precaution of reserving a table in one of the recommended restaurants, we found this piece of Savoie in the heart of Bourges. A nice surprise with a generous raclette and flawless service.

Great assortment of cheese based dishes for my husband and for me- a non cheese lover- some i interesting sausage meat options as well

Typical and quality food. The fondue is highly recommended. The service is managed exclusively by a lady who, despite having a lot of work to do, is always smiling and helpful. Although he didn't speak much English, he still took the time to explain and recommend the dishes as best he could. The place is very nice and welcoming, all in Savoy style.

Welcome to a mountain chalet. The welcome is warm, the cuisine excellent, you can find the taste of Savoy. I had a good time there and I will come back there during my next visits to town.

A great experience in a friendly place. A warm welcome and efficient service despite the number of place settings to be served by one person A great discovery: the typically Savoyard filled crepe. Small downside, the starter salad is too mustard, which spoils the pleasure of a good salad

The raclette was excellent, the charcuterie on the other hand a little light in quantity and quality.

Lovely meal with great service and nice atmosphere. We had the walkers menu and I had a salad and my husband the meat and both were delicious. Not huge because of the impending mains - fondue and tartliflette. Both were excellent and the service fantastic. We brought our dog and sat outside. Don’t listen to the negative reviews and give it a try!
