Le Schaefferhof sur Duppigheim

I had the pleasure of discovering Schaefferhof, and the experience was excellent. The tarte flambée is simply exceptional: flavorful, generous, and perfectly prepared, with that authentic taste one seeks in Alsace. The service is equally remarkable: warm, welcoming, and attentive servers. What more could you ask for? I highly recommend it if you want to enjoy a truly authentic tarte flambée in a friendly atmosphere!

The dining room was lovely, but quite noisy, making conversation difficult. The tarte flambée was good, but it could have been served hotter.

The food was excellent and each of our dishes was truly delicious. The service was pleasant, the waitresses very friendly. The only downside was the long wait for our food, as it was prepared to order à la carte.

A typical restaurant, just the way we like them in Alsace, never disappointed by the quality of the food and the service…the only downside is that several times we've finished our meal accompanied by the gentle sound of the vacuum cleaner before the mop comes by 😕…so it's advisable to come for dinner as early as possible to avoid this inconvenience 😅

Passing through my home region, I made a quick stop to enjoy a tarte flambée. It's not the first time, but each time I have a wonderful, warm experience. The atmosphere, the friendliness of the owners, and the quality of the tarte flambée were all fantastic. The topping was generous, the crust crispy, and it was served piping hot. A real treat for us now living in the south. Thank you so much for this magical moment.

The only downside is that there shouldn't be too many people.

This is the kind of restaurant you're looking for on a Sunday evening, or simply to have a good time. It has all the values, the references, and the pleasure of being in a typical Alsatian Winstub. Just like home! Extraordinary service! I highly recommend it!
