Le Schaefferhof sur Duppigheim

A really nice little restaurant near our place. We love going there from time to time. The service is always impeccable, the food too, in short, perfect! 😁

A very warm welcome, the setting is pleasant, though it could have been a bit warmer (a little chilly). There was a bit of a wait for the first course, but after that it was fine. It was delicious, with a modern twist on classic flavors. I would gladly return. Outdoor seating is available in the summer.

A traditional Alsatian flammekueche cooked over a wood fire! The rest of the menu is just as good. A must-visit for introducing friends to authentic local cuisine. Friendly service and very reasonable prices :)

This was our first time at this restaurant, and we went to eat tarte flambée. The atmosphere was nice, and the tarte flambée was good. The problem was: after two tarte flambées that went perfectly, we ordered a third one, a gratinée. After waiting for almost half an hour, we asked one of the waitresses if we'd been forgotten, and apparently, that was indeed the case. In short, it doesn't exactly make us want to come back. What a shame...

I had the pleasure of discovering Schaefferhof, and the experience was excellent. The tarte flambée is simply exceptional: flavorful, generous, and perfectly prepared, with that authentic taste one seeks in Alsace. The service is equally remarkable: warm, welcoming, and attentive servers. What more could you ask for? I highly recommend it if you want to enjoy a truly authentic tarte flambée in a friendly atmosphere!
