We discovered this restaurant during our stay for the Christmas markets. It's an unusual restaurant with its small dining room seating 17, decorated in a style that transports you straight back to the old Alsatian era, much like the owners, who are approaching 80 and still serve authentic, homemade regional dishes. We enjoyed chatting with this friendly couple, and I'll cherish the memory of this place and recommend it without hesitation, despite what you might initially think.

10/03/2026: Excellent stay at the Riesling. Perfect welcome and service. The chef's cuisine is delicious and sophisticated; we were able to enjoy the new spring menu, a real treat. We will gladly return.
26/02/2026: We were very satisfied with our stay! We booked the four-day Valentine’s package, which included a Valentine’s dinner and a room on the third floor. The food was excellent, and although the room was small, it had everything we needed and offered a beautiful view of Zellenberg and the vineyards. Communication with the front desk staff, especially Sonja and Jacqueline, was smooth and pleasant. The entire team was very friendly. The surrounding area is perfect for hiking and enjoying local wines, with many wineries nearby. We would definitely love to come back!

15/03/2026: A remarkable culinary experience. We were fortunate enough to try the tasting menu, and each dish was a true delight for the taste buds. The cuisine is exquisitely refined, perfectly executed, with flavors that leave a lasting impression. The wine pairings were simply exceptional and perfectly complemented each course. A truly enjoyable gastronomic experience. We highly recommend this restaurant to lovers of fine dining. ☺️ Special mention also goes to the service, which exceeded our expectations!
04/03/2026: Tasting menu (1 regular and 1 gluten-free) Menu excluding drinks: €60 Wine pairings: 3 glasses €13.50 / 4 glasses €18 / 5 glasses €22.50 Appetizers: 1 type per person! A few but good things 1) Semi-cooked foie gras with sauerkraut jam...divine 10/10 2) Organic egg, mushrooms, garlic, cream 8/10 3) Citrus sorbet with liqueur 8/10 4) Cod, vegetable chips, quinoa with lobster sauce 7/10...Lacking in flavor despite the ingredients 5) Veal shoulder, morels, cream, dauphine potatoes, vegetables 8/10 (but much too creamy...again) 6) Pineapple, salted caramel ice cream.... garnishes 9/10 (overall exquisite taste) Wines: 4 decent glasses 7/10 I give the food an 8/10 Atmosphere 9/10 Two owners 9/10 Drawbacks: Too many creamy dishes...the last one becomes cloying Deep plates for almost all courses = needs improvement I will return because A very pleasant whole
