Le Schluch sur Strasbourg

Small bar on a quiet street, smiling and friendly service and bartender.

Arrived Strasbourg Friday evening and as my first time here was unfamiliar with the local bar scene. I was looking for a locals bar that focussed on serving drinks and after walking the centre saw this bar on Google maps. Made very welcome by barman Johnny and also friendly service from Tristan. My French is not great but that wasn't a problem here and soon got talking to locals like Thomas! Good range of Fischer & Perle beers on draught at reasonable prices and the bar had a cosy ambience. Liked it so much went back Saturday night and met a crew of Germans so the night went through to the early hours! If you're looking as a stranger for a friendly pub then Le Schluch should be your 1st choice!

Great pub. It became our regular spot right from the first visit. Highly recommended. Superb, chilled beer and a delicious Martini Spritz.

I love those quaint, rustic beer halls and pubs. We went there for a nice beer. They have various beers on tap, such as Fischer Traditionell, Meteor, and also an IPA, among others. My wife and I each had a Fischer Traditionell, and we really enjoyed it. Next time we're in Strasbourg, we'll definitely stop by again.
