Le Sellig sur Castelsarrasin

We stopped for lunch at 1:30 pm, and this restaurant welcomed us despite the late hour. The meal was superb (homemade foie gras, homemade fries, perfectly cooked duck breast). The staff were very friendly. I highly recommend it. The restaurant was very clean, and I will definitely return.

If you are in the area or passing through on the highway and want to stretch your legs, this is an ideal place, good menu and good food at reasonable prices, especially the duck.

We were about to leave Castelsarrasin when we stumbled upon this restaurant, whose terrace was packed. The setting was pleasant, the service warm despite the wait due to the holidays, and the menu was affordable and delicious.

A superb experience! The service was quick and friendly. I'm surprised I didn't discover this little restaurant sooner. Initially, we just wanted to have a drink on the terrace, but we ended up ordering a charcuterie platter: it was magnificent, hearty, and generous. It was a wonderful discovery, and we'll be back soon to try the other dishes. The entire restaurant staff is incredibly friendly and kind. In addition, the parking spaces are easily accessible, with a clearly visible spot where I was able to park my motorcycle without any problems. I'm only giving it 5 stars because, unfortunately, I can't give 10! 😄 More seriously, everything was perfect. Thank you for your warm welcome, your service, and your kindness. (P.S. Absolutely delighted to have discovered this wonderful place. Just passing through Castelsarrasin. The welcome was perfect, the dishes were bursting with flavor and freshness. Good, quick service. Kudos to the chefs! I highly recommend it; the quality is perfect for the price.

Parked at the motorhome area, which is very nice and reasonably priced, I can spend my money at the restaurant and treat myself. This restaurant is frankly very good; I recommend it. We need to support businesses that set up shop outside of big cities and have a real passion for commerce. If you walk into a restaurant and feel at home, that's fantastic.
