Great little restaurant/wine bar located in a quiet alley in Versailles.
The boss and staff are very pleasant and attentive.
The cuisine is brasserie style but with high quality products, which makes the dishes fabulous.
Not to mention the wine list, the owner of which is a fine connoisseur.
If you want to have a good time, you can go there with your eyes closed!

Don't look for originality, but it's good.
For the price, it's a little expensive for the products on the menu.
In terms of service, there is a bit of a lack of joviality and there is no commercial sense.
The waiter accidentally dropped a pot of mustard sauce which literally splashed all over us and it was my husband's pants that were really expensive.
No gesture or offer to take care of the dry cleaning.
When paying, you are entitled to a "I stain every day and the stains
are going very well"
Ok 👌 Too bad to let customers leave on this last remark.
FYI the pants are ruined...

A nice restaurant that exudes a cozy atmosphere. In addition, a varied menu, top service and good recommendations for both the food and the matching wine. Fair prices. All in all a nice evening.

I had dinner at Le Sept with a group of colleagues during the Olympics. We ate divinely well and the recommended wines went very well with the food. Most of my colleagues were foreigners and what a joy to introduce them to our gastronomy in such a beautiful and good way! The prices are very reasonable and the service is informative and friendly.

Un dîner en terrasse. On est un peu les uns sur les autres dans la ruelle. La carte des plats est courte, la cuisine familiale plutôt goûteuse, les vins proposés en harmonie avec les mets. L’équipe plutôt sympa et à l’écoute. Mais … hormis le menu dont le prix est affiché pour les vins on ne sait pas combien coûte la bouteille. La surprise est au moment de l’addition. Cela mériterait davantage de transparence. Dommage …

It is true, I am not an occasional visitor of Le Sept. I go there at least once a week since four years now, and I never ever had a bad experience. It feels like a private dining room, the staff is like family ... the chef is exceptional and wears his smile wherever he goes. Darius and Nathanael are THE greatest wine experts you can imagine, and Edouard who joined recently as a second waiter has a great sense of service and does a great job.
But again, don't spread the news, so that I still can get a table next time.
