Le Serghi sur Saint-Martin-De-Re

Haute cuisine lunch! We had lunch here. We didn't reserve, but they were happy to make room. The lunch was very special, with beautiful presentation on the plates and, of course, delicious food. Prompt and attentive service. We were only on the island for a bike ride; otherwise, we certainly would have gone back for dinner!

Serghi richly deserved its 5 stars. Located opposite the port of Saint-Martin-de-Ré, the restaurant boasts a superb terrace and a setting that never ceases to amaze. In the kitchen, it's flawless: the dishes are excellent, perfectly executed, and showcase superb ingredients. A huge congratulations to the entire kitchen team. The wine list is also top-notch and pairs beautifully with the dishes. The only drawback concerns the service. While professional, it can be a bit rushed and varies depending on the waiter serving your table. This is a shame, as it sometimes clashes with the excellent level of the cuisine and prevents the restaurant from offering an even more refined experience. Despite this, the restaurant remains a must for enjoying a truly wonderful meal in one of the most beautiful settings on Île de Ré.

My wife and I stumbled upon it by chance last Thursday as the final stop on our day trip to Ile de Ré. Perfectly located on the marina of beautiful Saint-Martin-de-Ré, it proved welcoming and well-run. A culinary experience beyond all expectations: LES 6 HUÎTRES DE LA CABANE OCÉANE, MEDAILLON DE MEDAILLON DE MEDAILLA, VEGETABLES, BOUILLABAISSE, CITRON GRUMES, TAPPIOCA AU COCONUT MILK, VERTICAL CITRON, PINEAPPLE CONFIT A heavenly experience from start to finish. Only on our return did we discover it's listed in the Michelin Guide. As if to say that encounters are never accidental.

A superb first evening in Saint Martin at Serghi. A beautiful location right on the pier, and the welcome and service were extremely friendly. The food was a real treat! Beautiful cuisine featuring fresh, expertly prepared ingredients. We particularly enjoyed the gazpacho and the tuna. We'll be back!

Food was good. Especially the dessert was amazing, best pastry we have had all holiday! Mains were good.

Excellent french cuisine, not high cuisine, but everything was spot on from the gougere served with the glass of champagne, the pepper sauce served with the Bavette to the Madeline served with the coffee! Harbour side location. Service a tad rushed but that was because we were late by french standards. We would come again and most definitely recommend it!

We absolutely loved all the dishes. Different and original flavors and recipes. The risotto was incredible, very unique. Everything was wonderful. A great wine list. The music was very good, not intrusive. The service was excellent, very friendly, and they gave us great wine recommendations. If you're in Saint Martin de Ré, you must eat here.
