Simply the best restaurant we ate at all week (and that's saying something!). The food was absolutely flawless, with a special mention for the catch of the day and the desserts. The terrace is lovely, away from the crowds, and the service was very friendly (especially the ladies)! Truly amazing!! We would have loved to come back to see how consistent it was, but our trip was coming to an end. We'll be back next year! Go for it! ⚡️

A glass of flat champagne was served in a wine glass. One of the dishes arrived barely lukewarm, and the other, a risotto, was far too salty. The portions weren't very large. Furthermore, the restaurant's interior was very noisy. It was not at all good value for money. I wouldn't recommend it, especially since other restaurants in similar locations offer much better quality and ambiance for the same price.

A truly wonderful meal. We started with a chilled yellow pepper, cucumber and mussel gazpacho. It was sublime. The crisp cucumber against the sweet pepper made it one of the tastiest things I've eaten in ages. Followed that with the classic steak au poivre and chips: perfectly cooked.
The menu is small but every dish is considered. Cocktails were excellent, the wine list well chosen. Tucked away from the main strip in Saint-Martin-de-Ré, it's a secluded spot with a stunning sunset view over the water.
Highly recommend – book ahead.

Nothing to complain about, everything to praise! A warm welcome, thoughtful recommendations, and excellent cuisine: good quality ingredients, expertly prepared with plenty of flavor, and no frills. Everything was perfect. A restaurant that deserves its reputation. Thank you and best wishes for the end of the season.

Friendly, detail-oriented, and helpful staff.
Lovely decor (silver cutlery, cloth napkins).
