During a visit to Issigeac, being from Périgord we didn't want to eat local canned duck served to tourists... And what a surprise in this little restaurant. Hidden in a small alley, it's worth it, a beautiful plate, generous in quantity, in taste, it's homemade and our palate says Yes! But that's not all, there are homemade English desserts, scones, cheesecake, etc... A delight. The price is normal. I highly recommend this restaurant to any visitors to Issigeac. For lunch or a gourmet tea!

What a wonderful experience! As a vegetarian, food in France has been somewhat disappointing, this little artisital restaurant come tea room is totally fabulous, all the food and cakes are homemade, the drinks and beers are smaller breweries and the juices are gorgeous. We spent a wonderful, slow afternoon enjoying the meal and a beautiful location.

This is a lovely little tea room tucked away on a back street in Issegiac. It’s so quaint and quirky all themed around Alice in Wonderland. If in the village worth a visit, great selection of tea and cakes.

An enchanted parenthesis in a very British universe. We were amazed and delighted. Very warm welcome. The stars in my eyes made me forget about my son's cuddly toy that they kindly sent back to us by post. THANKS.

Great place for a brunch with family/friends, or simply a coffee + delicious scones, everything is fresh and homemade, atmosphere (English breakfast) with a smile and kindness from the staff.

08/09/2024: Good but just not what it used to be. We've visited this restaurant many times over the years and always was our favourite place in Issigeac. Our first visit since the change of ownership. It just isn't the same in terms of menu, ambiance and service. Food was good but lacked the laid back superiority previously. No pichets, only bottles. A solid choice but I reminesce.
24/08/2024: Une bâtisse ancienne dans laquelle on est bien accueilli, il y a de la place pour l’humour et la cuisine vaut le détour. Nous avons dîné sur la terrasse : foie gras , lieu jaune, filet de bœuf et chocolat pour terminer. Les conseils pour le vins sont de qualité et la cuisson du poisson une merveille. A noter que nous avons mangé des produits frais et locaux. Nous avons aimé passer un moment dans cet endroit et je me dis, lorsque je lis les avis que tant la critique est facile l’art est plus difficile. Nous reviendrons !
