I had an absolutely fantastic time at Restaurant Le Silex in Colmar! From the warm welcome and chic bistro atmosphere, you know you're in for a wonderful culinary experience. The cuisine is authentic, generous, and perfectly executed—and their homemade cordon bleu is simply extraordinary: tender, flavorful, and prepared with true expertise! Highly recommended!

I'd heard that prices were high at Le Silex. The price of the dishes (€30) is a deterrent at first, but at least the restaurant has the merit of serving generous portions of lassi and not just a tiny piece of meat. One of us ordered beef skewers (two large bites) with a side bowl (my only complaint, as the steamed vegetables weren't very appealing) and a salad on the plate (not just two wilted leaves). The other had a baked steak with Parmesan. Personally, I didn't enjoy my meat (it arrived medium rather than rare as requested), but I'm not exactly a meat connoisseur; I almost never enjoy eating it. However, the meat lover in our group did.

A great place for meat lovers! A very wide selection of quality meats and generous side dishes. The restaurant is open very late, and parking is easily accessible (shopping center opposite). The service is quick, the food is hot, and the prices are reasonable for the quality. There's also a very good wine selection and helpful advice. Highly recommended! 👍

The food is really good and very reasonably priced. The cordon bleu is excellent, generous, and perfectly prepared. The service is top-notch: we were greeted by a lovely waitress who was both professional and friendly.

17/03/2026: We came here because of the excellent reviews and we weren't disappointed. Everything was wonderful... snails, oysters, freshly prepared steak tartare, etc. The service was also very attentive. In short, we had a wonderful evening here.
