Le Solara sur Nice

Location and service from all collaborators who served us were very good. The room is simple but serves very well!

Excellent location right in the centre and moments from the beach but still quiet. Rooms are a bit basic but clean and our double room had a great little balcony. People on reception are really friendly and helpful and will store your bags. The lift is tiny as other people have said. We preferred to walk the five flights of stairs! Would definitely stay here again if back in Nice as it's great value for money for where it is located.

Service au top, les serveurs ont l’œil partout ! Très pro ! Plats (hamburger, moules et tagliatelles) très bons !!! Je recommande. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir ! Bravo à toute l’équipe

Close to the beach, close to Nice nightlife. Rooms have air condition and a fridge to cool down in the hot summer.

The hotel’s location on Nice’s main street was really convenient. Just a heads-up, though: it can get quite noisy late at night if you’re sensitive to that. It’s also a safe area with plenty of people around, which made me feel secure walking back late at night. Plus, it’s just a short stroll to the beach. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

POSITIVES: Great location, room was small but clean and owner pleasant NEGATIVES: Balcony was lovely except for the dead fruit tree in the corner. Shower head broken; glass cosmetic tray under bathroom mirror ready to fall off; curtain rod not secured properly so kept falling down when curtain was pulled. Asked for a second hand towel twice which we never got and then the morning of our departure no hot water! Also not convenient that you are unable to check in or even leave your bags between 12:00 - 14:00. Will not stay here again.

Small but well presented room in the heart of Nice. Noise wasn't an issue, if you have the option go the terrace. Heaps of restaurants and cafes around.

Hotel in toller Lage, im Zentrum und nah am Strand/Promenade. Das Zimmer war klein (ich hatte ein Einzelzimmer), aber gemütlich, sauber und gepflegt. Das Bett war bequem und ich habe gut geschlafen. Neben einem kleinen Kleiderschrank, Fernseher, Tisch und Stuhl gab es im Zimmer auch einen Kühlschrank, was sehr praktisch war. Der Empfangschef war sehr nett und hilfsbereit, gab gute Tipps und war gleichzeitig nicht aufdringlich - perfekt! Nur das Internet war schwach, ich hatte nicht die Geduld, es auf meinem Smartphone zu nutzen, und nutzte lieber mein Datenpaket, und auf meinem Laptop wurde die Verbindung ständig unterbrochen, so dass ich es nicht nutzen konnte (bis auf eine Nacht, als unerwarteterweise hat alles sehr gut und stabil funktioniert), also habe ich auch meinen Datenpaket benutzt. Für mich war das kein großes Problem, denn mein Datenpaket kostete mich 5€ mehr als sonst, aber wer Wert auf gutes Internet legt, sollte darüber nachdenken. Und vielleicht noch etwas: Wenn jemand gerne länger schläft, wird es morgens leider ziemlich laut und es kann schwierig sein... Hotel in a great location, in the center and close to the beach/promenade. The room was small (I was in a single room) but cozy, clean and well-kept. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. In addition to a small wardrobe, TV, table and chair, the room also had a fridge, which was very useful. The receptionist was nice and helpful, gave good advice, and at the same time not intrusive - perfect. Only the internet was weak, I didn't have the patience to use it on my smartphone and preferred to use my data package, and on my laptop it kept disconnecting so much that I couldn't use it (except for one night, when unexpectedly everything worked very well and stably), so I was using my data plan too. For me it wasn't a big problem, because the package cost me €5 more than usual, but if someone cares about good internet, they should consider it. And maybe one more thing: if someone likes to sleep longer, unfortunately it gets quite noisy in the morning and it may be difficult...

Très bonne expérience dans cet établissement qui nous a reçu au pied levé pour nous concocter des sandwiches à emporter. En front de mer, nous y sommes même retournés pour déguster un dessert en terrasse. personnel, très sympathique. Il me semble que l’on peut tenter de manger là-bas.
