Le Soleil du Portugal sur Bretigny-Sur-Orge

A restaurant I stumbled upon during a walk, and what a delight! Excellent Portuguese cuisine, with the famous cozido and feijoada served every other weekend, not to mention the menu featuring many other Portuguese specialties. The waitress (who also manages the restaurant) was fantastic and incredibly kind.

Great atmosphere with music and karaoke

Excellent Portuguese cuisine! A generous and beautiful dish! A bottle of local wine was included. The only thing missing was a typical dessert, but I suppose few people order them since we're all quite full.

The restaurant's exterior is a bit drab, but inside it's like Portugal in France! A minor complaint about the fisherman's cod: only one shrimp and two shellfish 🤔 Perhaps they could increase the side dishes or find a different name for it? But it was so delicious that I recommend this restaurant to calamari and cod lovers.

The cod is excellent, well-cooked, and the portion is generous. However, the "fisherman's style" cod leaves something to be desired in terms of the quantity of clams (2) and shrimp (1). The mashed potatoes aren't anything special. Nevertheless, overall it's good. The service is pleasant.

A good restaurant, very clean, well-organized, with pleasant service and good, typical Portuguese dishes. 🇵🇹 Having ordered a Francesinha, it was good, just right. The sauce was slightly bland and could have been a bit spicier, less "tomato 🍅," but that's to be expected, even in Portugal 🇵🇹 sauces and recipes vary from restaurant to restaurant and city/region to city. We'll be back. 😊

An excellent evening for my mother's 80th birthday and a chance to explore the venue. The DJ provided a pleasant atmosphere, engaging with the guests and engaging them. The food was good quality and the staff were attentive, welcoming, and pleasant. We'll be back again, and can't wait for another opportunity.
